Local Attractions

Being located almost exactly half way along the Porongurup Road between Mount Barker and Chester Pass Road, our cottages are ideally located to enable you to take in all that this beautiful area has to offer.

There is easy access to the Porongurup National Park for walkers, climbers and artists. None of the Porongurup walks are hard but a range of options exists nonetheless from a simple stroll to a scramble up to the magnificent granite skywalk at Castle Rock. Longer options include the Three Peak circuit which offers a stunning array of scenery and flower and fauna in one walk or the more challenging Devil's Slide.

Once you have exhausted the Porongurup Range, you may like to venture out to the Stirling Range. Access to this area with its diverse options can be achieved within 45 minuets

Several awarded wineries are within a few minutes drive. Most of these have cellar doors and are most welcoming. So, if a long lazy day's wine tasting appeals then you will have come to the right place.

Mount Barker is but a 15 minute drive and Albany about 45 minutes via the scenic Chester Pass Road.

For anyone wishing to venture further afield, the likes of Denmark and Many Peaks make for easy day trips.
